It has been a very busy and successful month for the Bateup Racing, adding a further 4 winners and 4 placings!
Winners:The month kicked off with a winning double at the Sapphire Coast.
- Jarrett, our Sapphire Coast specialist who is unbeaten at the track in 5 starts easily won the Merimbula Cup
- Monegal produced a super effort first up over 1200m to let down strongly and win, making it 3 wins from her past 4 starts.
- Newcomer to the stables Bijalee relished the wet conditions at Nowra to win in a canter and
- Old Man’s Angel produced a dominant effort at Moruya on Friday to add win number 4 to his record.
Monegal
ended the month with a fantastic effort at Rosehill on Saturday finishing a very game 3rd beaten less than a length in very heavy
conditions. Stitched Up, Stryke the Gates and Burden of Proof
also added 3rd placings with good efforts whilst
Eberlee ran a pleasing 4th on debut and
Eskimo River
also ran a nice 4th first up for 12 months.
Barrier trials: Our 2yo’s River Charge and
Aphro Man both trialled impressively, whilst
Ma Bella Rosie
also trialled well!!!
Looking forward to the coming month and looking to again win the
trainers premiership at Sapphire Coast. We are currently equal leaders
with Luke Pepper with one meeting to go on the 28th July, so hoping to take a strong team down and continue our
good run of success at the lovely South Coast track.
