December stable news

Welcome to 2022!!! We hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable Christmas and we look forward to an exciting year ahead. I would like to say a big thank you to all of our staff that have worked so hard through the holiday period.

December was a good month for the stables with most of our runners performing very well. However, it was a little frustrating! Despite achieving 10 placegetters from only 18 runners, we managed only one winner. Eight of our 18 runners ran second!! We also had an unlucky 4th in the $150K Provincial Summer Series Final and a 4th in the Group 3 Belle of the Turf!

Crackalacka was impressive again, making it 2 wins from 2 starts for the stable when winning a Class 2 over 1200m at Sapphire Coast for Brock Ryan (despite not loving the wet conditions).

Monegal missed by the most minuscule of margins in the Evening Star at Canterbury on the 10th December, flying home to just miss in a photo and then performed very well to finish 4th in the Group 3 Belle of the Turf at Gosford.

Divine Breath finished 2nd in the Hawkesbury heat of the Summer Provincial Series (despite not handling the very wet conditions) and put in a super effort in the final at Newcastle to finish 4th working home strongly from a long way back.

Shaka Rock ran 2nd in the Kembla heat of the Summer Provincial Series and was excellent in the final finishing only 3.25 lengths behind the winner.

Pindarra’s Dream (Narooma Town Plate) Foxtrot Bravo, Alan, Factorize and Densaur also added second placings whilst Shaka Rock was honest once again at Nowra on New Year’s Eve finishing 3rd.
