Another sensational day at Sapphire Coast yesterday. We won the Merimbula Cup (for the 3rd year in row) with Brock Ryan guiding Club Legend to victory whilst stable mates Old Man’s Angel and defending champion Jarrett finished 3rd and 4th respectively.
Halliday Road was brilliant again in winning the previous race, making it back to back wins, and his first over 1400m with a beautiful ride from Ellen Hennessy. This was win number 7 for Hal with all 7 wins at Sapphire Coast!!!
Earlier in the day, Pindarra’s Dream debuted for the stable in the best possible way with a determined win, perfectly ridden by Jess Taylor. Aphro Man returned to the races in great style working in my home well to run 2nd and Blink Twice debuted for the stable with an eye catching 5th. Alan and Without Equal also put in sound performances and we were very proud of our team.
