Monegal made it two from two at Sapphire Coast claiming the Class 1 1600m in spectacular fashion. Sitting comfortably from Barrier 1, Monegal was able to muster a clear run at the 100m mark and bolt in strongly leaving Sarzana and Dashtorush in her wake. Bateup Racing’s impressive record at the Nowra track continues after claiming the Trainer’s Premiership last season.
Another successful day at Sapphire Coast yesterday. We had 3 runners. Monegal showed an explosive turn of foot to bolt in by 5 1/4 lengths ridden by Kayla Nisbet. Bimbimbi Barb made a pleasing debut finishing 2nd ridden by Jess Taylor. And Ballistic Motive continues to improve finishing 4th. Great work and thank you to our wonderful team of staff and owners
