It was a gutsy win by The Guru at Kembla Grange at his first attempt over 2000m. Given a perfect ride by Jess Taylor, Guru travelled well throughout and kept coming determinedly to be drawing clear on the line.
The Guru has been a model of consistency this preparation with 2 wins and 4 placings from 7 starts.
Congratulations to a great group of owners (some of which we could hear cheering at home!!!). It was a great day for the stable with lightly raced filly Eberlee producing a super effort to finish 3rd beaten just over half a length and “King of the Coast” Jarrett produced yet another honest effort to also finish 3rd.
