We began the month on a winning note with Super Kontiki leading all the way to win her Maiden at Wagga.

Super Kontiki backed up this effort, winning at Goulburn a week later. She won easily under a brave ride from Mick Travers who stuck to the outside fence the whole way making it two in a row!!
The day prior we had made our first trek to Tamworth and were rewarded with a quinella. Hope Uno broke through for a well overdue win defeating lightly raced stable mate Vain Invader in the 1200m maiden.
Vain Invader then held up this form with a good victory at Kembla Grange on Melbourne Cup Day!!!!
Moon Stories made a great return to racing with a solid effort to finish 2nd first up over 1400m at Kembla Grange on the 13th October, whilst Hope Uno stepped up to Class 1 grade on Goulburn Cup Day for another honest effort finishing 3rd.
Divine Breath has returned in great order with a fantastic fourth placing at Rosehill on Golden Eagle Day (just missing the podium in a photo finish).
We collected plenty of other 4th placings during the month as well. Skaifee (Wagga), Super Kontiki (Wagga), Shaka Rock (Canberra), Moon Stories (Kembla Grange), Ellen (Newcastle) and Superwand (Moruya).
We have a nice team of horses starting to head to the races and are looking forward to some improved weather over the coming months and seeing some of our young horses and “old” favourites hitting the races.
Gong Day, the biggest race day at Kembla Grange is fast approaching (19th November) and we hope to have a couple of runners again this year. We had a sensational day last year, and hopefully can replicate those results 😊. Most hospitality packages are sold out however owners should have access to the owners area and general admission is still available. For those attending we can head back to the stables following the races for a few drinks and to catch up!
