Theresa Bateup will start the in-form pair of Pretty Please and Sebastian’s Flyer in the 2000m Benchmark 58 Handicap at Queanbeyan on Tuesday.
The ever-consistent Pretty Please was coming off back-to-back placings when winning the 1600m Maiden Handicap at the Sapphire Coast on October 30.
Jess Taylor (56.5kg) is back in the saddle at Queanbeyan, but the 5YO Bull Point mare will have to fend off the challenges of stablemate Sebastian’s Flyer, who’s been knocking on the door of a fourth career win.
The 6YO Spieth gelding has been consistent this preparation, and last time out, ran a good second placing in the 1600m Benchmark 58 Handicap at the Sapphire Coast on October 30.
Connections have drawn wide with gate nine, but Pierre Boudvillain (56.5kg) takes the ride.
Bateup will have up to six runners on a busy day at Queanbeyan.
Flying Gabbi (Amy McLucas, 57kg), Liamena Avenue (Claire Ramsbotham, 55kg) and Star Of Kyeema (56kg) are drawn to race in the 1200m Maiden Handicap.
Kickamushu (Jess Taylor, 56.5kg) also resumes for the stable, with the 5YO Scissor Kick mare drawing gate three in the 900m Benchmark 58 Handicap.
