Aided by a 24% decline in the average price of yearlings sold in Book 2 of this year’s sale, I was able to come home with 2 nice colts to offer clients.
The Book 2 average, was actually the lowest for 10 years, so this may be a good year for those operating at the “value” end of the yearling market.
We invite you to join us racing these horses.
Anders x Murtle Miss Colt

I was very impressed by Anders progeny overall. They are neat, well put together, running types with a lot of their grandsire, Not a Single Doubt about them
This colt was a nice size with plenty of strength, depth through the girth and a great hindquarter. He has a strong gaskin (hind leg muscle) and is a good mover.
I have inspected horses out of Murtle Miss at previous sales and they have always been on my short list.
This colt is BOBS eligible and looks the type that could get to the races as a 2yo
He is low risk on X-Rays and passed the scope

Invader x Reiby Rainbow Colt

I have a strong liking for the Invader progeny, having a number in the stable that go quite nicely including Vain Invader, Mulvader, Tartana and the very promising Ghaznavi.
This colt is a neat horse and typical of what I like in the Invaders. He is in a similar mould to Mulvader whom I also purchased out of Book 2 at the Magic Millions
He has good strength about him and he covers the ground well. He also has a lovely head. At this stage, he is still “bum high” and will continue to grow into himself
X-Rays are low risk and he passed the scope.
