January Highlights

We kicked off 2024 in style!

The team produced great results in January with 3 winners including a double at Moruya. We also had 4 x 2nd placings, 5 x third placings and 3 x 4th placings as well as some eye catching performances.

Paziah broke through for a well deserved Maiden win at Wagga when she came from last to arrive right on the line for Kayla Nisbet.

The “old boys” stole the show at Mourya on the 19th of January.  Foxtrot Bravo returned to the winners’ circle in great fashion for Robyn Freeman and Victory at Omaha led all the way for Louise Day. In doing so, “Bro” notched up his 6th career win and made it a running double for the stable.

Mystic Diva (Kembla Grange), Sassy Missile (Moruya) and Hope Uno (Kembla Grange) all added second placings. Our third placegetters were Kickamushu (Canterbury), Ghaznavi (Warwick Farm), Direct Fire (Kembla Grange), Crackalacka (Moruya), Iconic Miss (Moruya) and Master Riley (Kembla Grange). Crackalacka also produced a solid effort to finish 4th in theMoruya Cup.

The 2 day Sapphire Coast Bega Cup Carnival is almost upon us and as usual we will have a big contingent heading down for the two days. For those that are attending the races we have a marquee set up on both days where you are most welcome to join us, as well as attending the Calcutta at Club Sapphire on the Saturday night and you are invited to join us for dinner at the Lake View Hotel on Sunday night.

The sales season for the new year has kicked off and we came home with 3 lovely colts from the Magic Millions Sale. We still have shares available in the Anders / Murtle Miss colt (who has just headed to the breakers) and the Invader / Reiby Rainbow colt. The sales focus now shifts to the Inglis Classic at Warwick Farm on the 11th – 13th February.
