Welcome to 2024! We look forward to the New Year and to celebrating many winners!
With recent rain and the abandonment of a few meetings, we didn’t have a lot of runners during December. However we managed to keep the winners coming, with first starters, Arabian Soo and Sassy Missile winning nicely on debut.
Arabian Soo made the perfect start to her racing career with a dominant win at Wagga yesterday and a perfect ride by Kayla Nisbet. From the outside barrier “Shimmy” worked across to lead and when asked for an effort in the straight careered away to win by 2.5 lengths!!! Well done to all owners and a special thank you to strapper Denise Dandy, strapping her first winner for the stable . Thank you also to our staff at home for all of their hard work

Arabian Soo had trialled nicely leading into her debut at Wagga. She worked across to lead from the outside barrier for Kayla Nisbet and kicked clear in the straight to record an easy win.
Sassy Missile is a 4yo mare, whom the owners have been very patient with. “Pommie” rewarded this patience with a gutsy win on debut at Moruya for Jess Taylor.
Sassy Missile made the perfect start to her racing career winning at Moruya yesterday, ridden by Jess Taylor, and continued a great week for the stable . “Pommie” stuck her head out where it counted for a narrow but solid win, with plenty of improvement to come. A big congratulations to her group of owners who have been very patient with Pommie, who was making her debut as a 4yo.

On Saturday, our honest little mare, Hope Uno produced a superb effort to come form last on the home turn at Randwick and power home to finish 3rd in The Midway over 1600m for Molly Bourke. Hope has a big heart and thoroughly deserved a city placing on her resume .
We have a great team of staff who are doing a fantastic job, thank you
Hope Uno continues to race well and is a model of consistency despite being up in grade. She notched up 3 x 3rd placings in the month. Two were at Gosford and Kembla Grange. The other was an eye-catching effort in the Midway at Randwick on the 16th of December when she came from last to finish 3rd and record her first city placing.
Mystic Diva finished 2nd at Kembla Grange on the 30th of December, relishing the step up in distance and the wet track.
Kickamushu ran another honest race at Canterbury to finish 4th on the 8th December whilst Paziah also ran bravely at Kembla Grange to finish 4th on the 14th December.
We had a number of horses ready to race last week at Queanbeyan and Sapphire Coast, however unfortunately both meetings were abandoned due to the wet weather. We also have a large contingent of horses getting ready to return to the races / make their race debuts over the coming weeks. A number of them are set to trial at Kembla Grange on the 5th January including Vain Invader, Victory at Omaha, Iconic Miss, Master Riley, Octahedron, Intamagic and London Star.
