May Highlights

It was another quieter month on the racing front with a smaller team racing and a larger number of horses in the earlier stages of their preparations. However our racing team continue to do a good job.

Victory At Omaha produced a fantastic effort at Kembla Grange on the 6th May to bring up his 4th career win courtesy of a well judged ride by Jess Taylor.

Skaifee continued his very consistent form and his great Sapphire Coast record with a dead heat win on the 7th May. He is currently Leading Horse of The Year at Sapphire Coast with 2 meetings to go. We’ll be hoping he can cement his position at the top of the table when he lines up at Sapphire again on Sunday 11th June after a small freshen up.

Steve Steve Steve produced a much better effort at Sapphire Coast finding the line strongly from back in the field to finish 2nd.

Foxtrot Bravo was excellent when finishing 3rd during the Cup Carnival at Wagga on the 4th May.

Ready For Impact found the podium at his second race start working home nicely to finish 3rd at Albury.

Alan continues to race very well and has finished an unlucky 4th at his past 2 starts at Sapphire Coast and Albury.

We have a lot of our 2yo’s starting to trial and head to the jump outs and it is quite exciting to see their development and progression!!!

The sales season has all but ended and we added a scopey filly by Denman to the stable last week. She was purchased from the Magic Millions National Yearling Sale and is out of an Authorized mare, Karaka Lass, making her a filly that should get over a bit of ground. She will have a spell at Kooringal Stud before heading to the breakers.
