5yo bay Gelding, Michael Oscar claimed his maiden win sweeping the field at Moruya. Leading early and setting the pace, he was hardly challenged in the sprint, pulling away at the 400m mark and gliding home for victory by 1.4 lengths.
We returned to my favourite racetrack at Sapphire Coast Turf Club yesterday for their first meeting of the season and yet another successful day!!! Represented by new recruits to the stables, Micheal Oscar justified his odds on status winning easily under the guidance of Jess Taylor (at his first start in 19 months!!!). Casiard made an excellent debut finishing 2nd whilst Sister Maree also put in a great effort to finish 3rd at her debut for the stable. I was honoured to be awarded the 2018/2019 Trainers Premiership for the second successive season and our little super star, Monegal was awarded Horse of the Year 🐎🐎🐎. A masssive thank you to the Sapphire Coast Turf Club, we love racing there!!! And a huge thanks to our team of staff, owners and supporters
